All our jams can be used in a traditional ways, for breakfast, with afternoon tea, with pancakes, pastries and mixed with yogurts. We have, equally, a selection of jams wich can be used creatively in your cooking. Here are a few examples of original french recipes:
Put a little gelée on warm toast and cover with a slice of Foie Gras from the refrigerator. The two different temperatures create a unique fusion of taste! Alternatively, eat it with Roquefort cheese or other blue cheeses. Not forgetting the dessert: you can garnish a chocolate cake or a pancake with chocolate with the gelée....and the final touch to a "poire Belle-Hélène" on warm chocolate!
Excellent with duck! Boil the duck with gelée, reduce slowly. Cook some scallops Saint-Jacques and after, put a little beer and spice gelée, increase the heat and coat the scallops Saint-Jacques.Serve on a bed of salad with balsamic vinegar. Enjoy!
Serve with white meats, lamb, rabbit, fish and especially with goats cheeses.
Excellent to enhance the taste of roast meats (grilled and barbecued) , ham and shoulder of lamb! Also use with potatoes and vegetables or as a stuffing for apples served with pintade and finally during the cooking of roast pork, cover the pork with onion confit and leave to marinade for 1/2 hour before grilling. For desert:
A mixture of pear, oranges, and rich black chocolate (70%) .Served with vanilla ice cream!
